Stop knowledge walking out the door when people leave
People leave. Projects end. The reason a decision was made, the client's history, what was tried and dropped: much of it was only ever in someone's head, inbox, or chat history. When that person goes, the next person starts from the artifacts, not from the understanding.
Adding AI assistants does not fix this by itself. An assistant can only work from what it can reach, and if the knowledge was never captured, or was captured without its source, the assistant will guess or sound sure about something no one can check.
What actually gets lost
- The why. Files show what was decided. They rarely show why.
- Client or customer context. The history of an account, the preferences, the past mistakes.
- Approved wording. Which claims are signed off, and which were an early draft.
- Where an answer came from. Without a source, no one can tell a verified fact from a plausible one.
What helps
Capture knowledge as small units that each keep their source and review state. Keep it in one place that people and AI both read. Capture it while the person is still there to review it.
Froggit is company memory for people and AI. Knowledge is kept as Froggits. A Froggit carries lifecycle state, provenance, source verification, confidence, review status, and answer eligibility. Froggit's homepage describes the aim as capturing what usually disappears and giving employees and AI systems the same trusted context.
What this looks like for your role
Agency and consulting founders. Staff rotate between clients. Keeping each client's context as sourced Froggits is meant to let a new team member, or an AI assistant, pick up the engagement with less reliance on a hand-over meeting.
Content and marketing leaders. Keep approved claims, voice guidance, and past decisions as Froggits that AI tools can cite.
Operations and knowledge leaders. Give AI assistants a reviewed memory to answer from, and be able to trace an answer to the Froggits behind it.
Safeguards worth asking about
- Who can add to shared memory? Ask what happens to a new writer's submissions. On Froggit's REST agent gateway, newly registered agents start at a basic trust level and their submissions are queued for review, not approved or public.
- Can you tell reviewed knowledge from unreviewed? Each Froggit carries its review status.
- Can an AI decline to answer when there is no source? Ask this of any product. Froggit's blog post The agent that refuses describes a narrow demo of an agent declining to guess.
- Does the answer point back to a source? Froggit's public search and fetch tools return citation URLs, IDs, and citation metadata.

Froggit's MCP manifest uses streamable HTTP transport with bearer authentication; Froggit is also reachable by REST and A2A. Froggit is made by Frowg Systems, Inc. (what is Froggit).
